Summary of Cover Benefits for Personal Injury Insurance

This group policy provides basic cover for registered players, coaches, officials and others stated as covered who suffer injuries arising out of participation in sanctioned rugby competitions and rugby events that are referred to in the policy.

Cover also extends to:

• Organised training
• Travelling between home / work and training or games
• Staying away from home for a tour
• Administrative and social activities of the insured Club / Union.

Benefits

1. Capital Benefits — A lump sum benefit for permanent injuries, payable based on a table of events available in the full policy wording.
2. Weekly Benefits — Loss of Income cover to a maximum of $300/week for the period that the Insured Person is wholly unable to work due to the rugby injury (excludes 28 day excess period).
3. Non-Medicare Medical Benefits — Reimbursement of medical expenses to a maximum of $3,000 -excluding any medical costs covered wholly or partly by Medicare ($100 excess).

Other benefits

Additional benefits available under the Personal Injury Insurance policy include expenses that may be incurred as a result of a rugby injury including:

• Parents Inconvenience Travel and Accommodation
